WordPress integration
Your WordPress blog, on Autopilot.
Publish SEO and GEO content from Blogged to your self-hosted WordPress blog, with image delivery, reviewed updates, and your existing theme.
External publishing requires a paid content plan.
One connected workflow

- 3Verify the public article
- 4Review updates when content changes
Connecting a site does not change routing. Save destinations for new eligible articles when you are ready.
How Blogged works with WordPress
Blogged connects to self-hosted WordPress through the Blogged Publishing plugin and an application password. Create and review articles in Blogged, then deliver them to your WordPress website.
Connect
Install the companion plugin, enter your CMS and public blog URLs, and verify the connection in Blogged.
Publish
Deliver article content and copied images to posts managed by the companion plugin. Your WordPress theme controls presentation; review its metadata and SEO-plugin behavior.
Know the boundaries
The plugin manages its own Blogged posts. It does not take over unrelated WordPress content. Full articles and noindex summaries are supported.
What you need to connect
Install the Blogged Publishing plugin and create an application password for a user allowed to publish posts and upload media. Your WordPress installation needs compatible PHP and InnoDB storage.

Publishing integrations require an eligible paid content plan. Free Projects and trials do not include external publishing. Provider fees and setup requirements may apply.
External delivery, summaries, and retries do not consume another Post. Existing content creation and review rules still apply.

How does Blogged publish to WordPress?
Blogged connects to self-hosted WordPress through the Blogged Publishing plugin and an application password. Create and review articles in Blogged, then deliver them to your WordPress website.
Do I need a WordPress plugin?
Yes, for self-hosted WordPress. Download and activate the Blogged Publishing companion plugin, then connect a publishing user's application password. WordPress.com uses a separate sign-in connection instead.
Can I review changes before updating my CMS?
Yes. Save your working copy in Blogged and inspect the external version before publishing a reviewed update. Detected CMS edits require review. Importing supported CMS text does not import advanced widgets or CMS images, and existing Autopilot authority still applies.
Is external publishing included in the Free Project or trial?
Publishing integrations require an eligible paid content plan. Free Projects and trials do not include external publishing. Provider fees and setup requirements may apply.
Will connecting a CMS move my existing articles?
No. Connecting alone does not change publishing. Save your destinations to route new eligible articles. Existing drafts and published articles keep their existing destination.
Do integrations use additional Post allowance?
External deliveries, summaries, and retries do not consume another Post. Article creation keeps its existing allowance and billing rules. CMS hosting and provider fees are separate.
